My Favorite Matcha Spot in Rayong: FUMI

If you asked me to pick my favorite matcha spot in Rayong, FUMI would easily be at the top of my list.

What I love about FUMI is the variety of matcha they offer. You can explore different flavor profiles, from nutty and umami-rich notes to something more floral and aromatic. If you’re still figuring out what kind of matcha you like, this is a great place to try a few different styles.

Of course, taste is personal. What I find delicious might not be exactly what you’re looking for. But one thing I can confidently say is that the matcha here is genuinely high quality — definitely on the more premium side. If you love your matcha bold, rich, and full of character, I think you’ll enjoy FUMI.

And while you’re traveling in Thailand, I really want you to spend some time exploring our café culture.

I haven’t traveled to every corner of the world, so I can only speak from my own experience, but some of the best café drinks I’ve ever had are right here in Thailand.

Maybe it’s our ingredients. Even something as simple as Thai fresh milk tends to be rich, creamy, and incredibly smooth, which works beautifully with both coffee and matcha.

So if you’ve ever had a latte somewhere and thought, “I wish this tasted a little richer,” try one in Thailand.

You might remember it long after your trip is over.

What to Order at FUMI

Clear Matcha

Sometimes, the simplest way to enjoy good matcha is the best.

Quality matcha whisked with hot water is all this cup needs. You get to experience its aroma and flavor without anything getting in the way.

Clean, fragrant, and a lovely way to start your morning.

Matcha Latte

Probably the favorite of many matcha lovers  including me.

Here’s all you really need to know: I live about 20 kilometers away from FUMI, and I still find myself coming back almost every week.

That should tell you how much I love their matcha latte.

Rich matcha paired with creamy milk makes this one of those drinks I’m always happy to drive across town for.

Coffee

Matcha might be the reason I keep coming back, but their coffee deserves your attention too.

If you’re a coffee drinker, definitely give it a try although I’d recommend ordering it in the morning.

Unless, of course, you’re planning to stay wide awake all night.

A Matcha Stop Worth Making in Rayong

If you’re searching for good matcha in Rayong, especially if you prefer something rich and intense rather than light and milky, put FUMI on your list.

Come for the matcha, try a coffee while you’re here, and take your time discovering which matcha profile you like the most.

It’s one of my personal favorites in Rayong  and hopefully, it might become one of yours too.
